Creating a children’s animated adventure is a journey filled with imagination, creativity, and many small details. In Scene 05 of the ABC Adventure Song, Marya and Viraksith continue their alphabet journey with a new and exciting animal friend — the Elephant.
“E Is for Elephant” was created to introduce children to the letter E through a colorful and memorable adventure. Instead of simply showing the letter and the word, we wanted to create a scene where children could experience the idea of an elephant through character interaction, movement, and exploration.
For this scene, the elephant was designed to look friendly, gentle, and approachable. Since KQ Kids Studio is created for young audiences, the visual style focuses on a cute and playful appearance rather than making the elephant look too realistic or intimidating. The goal is to create an animal that children can immediately recognize and enjoy.
Marya and Viraksith are at the center of the adventure. Their expressions, movements, and interaction with the elephant help tell the story visually. Marya approaches the elephant with curiosity and excitement, while Viraksith joins the adventure and discovers more about their new animal friend. These simple interactions help connect the letter E with the word Elephant in a natural way.
Behind the scenes, creating this scene involves several creative stages. We begin with the basic story idea and decide how the characters will interact with the animal. Then we develop the environment, character positions, facial expressions, lighting, colors, and camera composition. Each element needs to work together so the final scene feels like part of the same ABC Adventure world.
Consistency is also an important part of the production. Marya and Viraksith need to maintain their recognizable appearance throughout the entire series, while every new letter introduces a different environment, animal, object, or activity. This allows children to feel that they are traveling with the same two friends from one adventure to the next.
With “E Is for Elephant,” we also wanted to create a gentle message about discovering the natural world and learning to appreciate animals. Education can become more enjoyable when children can connect new words with colorful characters and meaningful experiences.
Scene 05 is another step in Marya and Viraksith’s journey through the alphabet. From A to E, every letter brings a new discovery, and there are still many more adventures waiting ahead.
