Creating a children’s adventure is not only about teaching letters. It is about creating little moments that children can see, understand, and remember. In “D Is for Dog,” part of the ABC Adventure Song from KQ Kids Studio, Marya and Viraksith meet a playful new friend and continue their journey through the alphabet.

For the letter D, we chose a dog because dogs are familiar, friendly, and loved by many children around the world. We wanted this scene to feel warm, joyful, and full of energy while naturally connecting the letter D with the word Dog.

In the scene, Marya gently interacts with the happy puppy while Viraksith joins the fun. Their expressions and body movements are designed to show curiosity, friendship, and kindness toward animals. The goal is to make the learning experience feel like an adventure rather than a traditional lesson.

Behind the scenes, bringing this moment to life requires several creative steps. We first develop the idea for the letter and decide what kind of environment will fit the story. Then we work on the character interaction, animal design, background, lighting, colors, and overall visual atmosphere.

For KQ Kids Studio, consistency is also important. Marya and Viraksith need to remain recognizable from one adventure to another, while each new letter should still feel fresh and exciting. The KQ visual identity is also included naturally throughout the scenes.

The D Is for Dog scene represents more than just one letter in the alphabet. It also introduces children to simple ideas such as friendship, caring for animals, kindness, and exploring the world around them.

This is what we hope to achieve with KQ Kids Studio — creating colorful stories where learning and imagination can grow together.

From A to Z, Marya and Viraksith still have many more adventures to discover. Follow King & Queen Studio as we share more behind-the-scenes stories and creative moments from the making of ABC Adventure Song. 🌈🎵🐶
